Rolls-Royce will take the 102EX to Geneva, an electric Phantom

The British brand presented at the Geneva Motor Show 102EX, a unit of a Phantom driven only by electricity that has not shown photos revealing. Also known as the Phantom Experimental Electric, its purposes are various, starting with the make "guinea pigs" for this type of mechanics in a modern Rolls-Royce that will allow engineers to collect data on their performance.

Also, throughout this year made a tour which will cover Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America in which various stakeholders such as shareholders, customers and specialized media can test this issue and provide feedback to the manufacturer.

Of course, Rolls-Royce will pay close attention to first impressions the public has in Geneva and, gathering all of the above, make decisions about further development of alternative energy powered models. And make no mistake, sooner or later the Rolls have to "go through with."

Addressing the skeptics, the CEO, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said in announcing the 102EX that, whatever energy that is finally chosen, will provide "an authentic Rolls-Royce experience." Those wishing to be leaving and their thoughts on an electric Rolls can do on this website.
