That’s right, the base price for a LF-A is more expensive than the most expensive version of Ferrari 599 GTB, its closest rival. But then this car has many impressive features.

The LF-A comes with a race-bred V10 which is very high performance, powerful, blah blah blah! Everybody knows it all. The other unique features of this Japanese supercar are not performance related. This car uses 15,000 parts, most of them bespoke to this model and crafted from the best quality materials. Almost 170 highly qualified technicians work on the LF-A’s assembly line and the car together by hands.

They also record all the procedures of the making, from the first steps of the assembly to the last stages of delivery. So every LF-A comes with a book that can be used as a reference for that particular car.

Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief of What Car? magazine, said: ‘[The Cygnet] is not a proper Aston Martin. There’s no Aston Martin engineering in it. It hasn’t got an Aston Martin engine under the bonnet or an Aston Martin-designed chassis. It uses Toyota running gear and a Toyota engine.

‘Yet for the price of one Cygnet you could buy two Toyota iQs and a decent set of Louis Vuitton luggage. You could buy three iQs if you go for the more expensive special edition launch car.’

Other critics have complained that the car ‘dilutes the Aston Martin brand’ and will damage its exclusive image. The Cygnet is a snip compared with the £173,000 cost of an Aston Martin DBS, as featured in the 007 movie Quantum of Solace.

While it doesn’t look much like a traditional Aston Martin, it carries the trademark grille and badge. There will be 50 black and 50 white cars in the luxury British carmaker’s initial limited-edition run.

The standard and special editions are the same mechanically and in performance, differing only in price and quality of the interior trim. Following the unveiling yesterday of the launch edition, production at Aston Martin’s Gaydon factory in Warwickshire begins in April.

The standard edition is expected to be available from next year. Existing Aston owners will get to jump the queue to order one.

Fit Shuttle ditawarkan dalam dua pilihan mesin, yakni hibrida 1,3 liter i-VTEC dan 1,5 liter, sama seperti yang digunakan oleh Fit saat ini. Belum ada keterangan resmi dari HMC terkait model baru ini. Lelaki mudah senyum ini juga melihat dari banyaknya produsen pabrikan yang masih mengeluarkan ke tiga warna ini.

"Untuk warna putih di tahun 2011, tidak hanya putih mencolok secara menyeluruh, tetapi putihnya agak seperti putih mutiara apabila sinar matahari mengenai bodi mobil," ujarnya.

Warna bunglon akan tetap menjadi favorit mereka yang senang memodifikasi mobil.

"Warna bunglon untuk tahun mendatang akan tetap ada. Tetapi perbedaan dengan dua atau tiga tahun belakangan, warna bunglon yang akan keluar di tahun 2011 tidak akan jauh larinya, seperti warna merah berubah ke orange, oranye berubah ke kuning," tambahnya.

Jadi intinya warna hitam akan banyak dipakai untuk kalangan mobil kelas atas. Sedangkan untuk warna silver akan dipakai mobil kalangan kelas medium. Dan untuk warna putih akan didominasi pemakaian mobil smaller atau mobil yang berukuran kecil.

"Karena kalau mobil kecil menggunakan warna hitam nanti seperti kutu dong," ujarnya sambil tertawa.

Untuk mesin sama dengan yang digunakan Suzuki Splash K12B namun diset lagi sehingga performanya sedikit berbeda. Mesin ini menghasilkan tenaga maksimum 67 (91 PS) @6.000 rp dan torsi 118 Nm @ 4.800 rpm. Selanjutnya, digunakan ban 165/65R14.

Suzuki berharap Solio bisa mengikuti langkah keberhasilan Swift dengan pejualan yang terus tumbuh dengan target penjualan di Jepang 12.000 per tahun. Suzuki sendiri akan memasok Solio ke Mitsubishi 800 unit per bulan 1.382.850 yen atau Rp 142 juta. Perlengkapaan yang disertakan pada mobil adalah ESP, ABS dan EBD.
