Volkswagen presents the new Tiguan in Geneva

Volkswagen presents the new Tiguan in Geneva - Volkswagen AG will present the latest model of compact SUV, Tiguan, at the Geneva Motor Show, held early next month. According to VW, this SUV has sold 572,000 units worldwide.

VW Tiguan is offered in 2 versions, namely roads and another that has been specially modified for "off-road. " Also provided are two trim levels, the "Track & Style" and "Sport & Style". Advanced features that are included fatigue detection, front camera to control lights called light assists and dynamic light assists, and XDS electronic differential lock as an optional.

This SUV is marketed in Europe starting next August at the cheapest price 24 175 euro or USD 270 million.

Three of the seven engines offered in Europe uses a system of direct injection, 4 cylinder (the latest). Another is TSI petrol engine that produces power 90 kW (122PS) and 115kW (210PS).

Three diesel engines (TDI) among others-powered 81kW (110PS) until 125lW (170PS). Especially for the new Tiguan, VW offers a double clutch transmission DSG or with 7-acceleration. Moreover, Bluemotion technology, the system of "Stop / Start to save fuel consumption!
