Hybrid Honda Jazz and Jazz 2011

Hybrid Honda Jazz and Jazz 2011 - Honda leads the Geneva Motor Show the new Honda Jazz, which suffers minimal aesthetic changes, tuning and engine. Back to have a CVT transmission, as in the first generation, but only in the hybrid version. Will be available in spring, prices have not yet been provided.


Outwardly change in the shape of the headlights, bumpers and front grille in matte black. The rear lenses are red sections in the upper and lower central and stays white. The hybrid version is slightly different.

The Honda Jazz Hybrid has headlights with blue outline, clear rear lenses, a different grille, redesigned bumpers and rear trim is chrome plated. The exterior colors are the same but also has metallic lime green for eco-freaks who go out of the closet.

The new Jazz has a darker dashboard, which contrasts with some chrome on the screen climate control and air vents. The fabric seats are blue / black to go to the game and the dashboard lighting is soft and amber tone. The materials are not the same as the 2008 model Jazz.

The hybrid version has a specific implementation, with the Honda Eco Assist system and a button "Eco" on the left side to prioritize the consumption low on supplies. In addition, Honda has changed the steering feel of jazz to make it more informative and has different suspension settings.

The conventional version has a load capacity of 399 liters if you count the double bottom of the trunk. The Hybrid occupies the double bottom with the batteries, which remains at 300 liters. Maximum cargo capacity is of 1,320 liters in the conventional and the hybrid.

There are three engines in the range: 1.2 90 bhp, 1.4 100 hp and 1.3 hp 98 IMA (Hybrid Jazz only). Fuel consumption is low in all cases: 5.3, 5.5 and 4.5 l/100 km. There are no diesel versions will be neither. The hybrid, depending on the Autonomous Community may be eligible, as semihíbridos not always tempered.

Only the hybrid is automatic (can not be manual), and the Jazz 1.2 and 1.4 for the Spanish market are manual, the iShift disappears. Until it reaches the Toyota Yaris HSD next year, the Honda Jazz Hybrid Hybrid is the only segment B in Spain and will be the cheapest of all hybrid sales.
